Design Steps
The initial interview is very important for both of us. There are no commitments at this point so you can freely evaluate how we work and you can decide if we are the right choice. It will also help us evaluate the size of the job at hand, the challenges involved and how we can help you develop your ideas.
It will be a meeting to find out about your company and what you want to offer in your site. We will help you taylor the content to your potential visitors and set it up in a way that satisfies their needs, which is ultimately what you will benefit the most from.
It is a very common mistake to create a site that mirrors your company. For example, if you sell tennis rackets, it is likely that, internally, you have them separated by manufacturer, and it may be very convenient for you, the seller. However, a potential customer will not care about that and will probably look for a graphite racket between $200 and $400, with manufacturer being an afterthought.
We will also get a sense of the type of site you like, the color schemes that we should be working with, how frequently the site must be updated and other relevant information.
At this point we will have a clear idea of the goals to achieve, the effort involved, timing and approximate cost.
